Wallgate FAQs
Here are some useful answers to questions we are asked about our products and services. For more information please call +1 (888) 889 5426 now to speak to one of our experts.Q What grade stainless steel do you use?
A All exposed panels are manufactured in Grade 304 stainless steel.
Q What is "solid surface"?
A All our cast solid surface sanitary-ware is manufactured from a composite of fine-grade aluminium tri-hydrate filler (ATH) and the highest quality Polyester resins. This provides a close knit molecular structure which is very tough and highly resistant to chemical attack. Coloured polyester chips can be blended with the mix to give a whole range of granite effect solid surface colours.
Q What colours are available in your solid surface material?
A We offer a range of standard colours to suit most applications, including white and our granite effect solid surface colours – please see our Colour Range for details.
Q I don’t want to use stainless steel in my school toilets – but is your solid surface material really vandal-proof?
A Sadly, nothing is completely vandal-proof! But our solid surface material is a very durable, non-flammable, fade and stain resistant composite. The finished products have inherent cut and scratch resistance and can easily be repaired or refinished if necessary. So our MGE and CME models are vandal-resistant and attractive and easy to use. They look smart and modern, and have been very well accepted by students in schools across the USA.
Q Which Handwash unit is most vandal-resistant?
A All of our handwash units are highly vandal resistant. For maximum vandal resistance we would recommend using our Model RSA2, which has a fixed front fascia and rear access only for soap refilling and maintenance. If front access is required then we recommend the Model FMX2, which is designed with secure locks and concealed hinges on the door panel.
